WHICH DEVICES CAN USE AN EE eSIM?
Some EE devices use and support eSIMs (electronic SIMs). eSIMs work just like a traditional SIM card but they’re embedded in the device so they can’t be removed. An eSIM includes everything you need to connect to the EE network. You can view the devices that support our eSIMs below.
Devices have different eSIM capabilities. Here's an explanation of the headings we use in the tables below, so you can understand how your device works with eSIMs.
- eSIM capable - this means the device has a virtual SIM card embedded in it.
- Seamless download - this means the device is an eSIM-enabled device which works out of the box.
- Subscription transfer (Apple devices only) - this means you can transfer an eSIM on an existing Apple device to your new Apple device.
- Convert to eSIM (Apple devices only) - this means you can replace your physical SIM card in your device with a virtual one in your device's settings, with just one click.
- Dual active eSIM - this means your device can have two active eSIMs at the same time.
