It’s easy to cast BT Sport to your TV, here’s what you need to know.

What do I need to cast?

To cast BT Sport, you need to be subscribed to our BT Sport Large Screen service and you need to have either Apple TV or a Google Chromecast device to cast from your device to your TV.

First, check if you’re subscribed to BT Sport Large Screen active:

  • Login to My EE  and select Add-ons and Benefits from the main menu
  • If you’ve more than one mobile number on your account, select the relevant one from the dropdown
  • Scroll to the currently active add-ons section and look for BT Sport Large Screen

To add BT Sport Large Screen, just text SPORT to 150 from the device you’d like to set it up on. We’ll send you a reply and a link to get started. BT Sport Large Screen costs £15 month.

How do I cast with Apple TV?

Here’s how to cast BT Sport using Apple TV:

  1. Select the correct HDMI input on your TV for Apple TV
  2. Access your Apple TV app from your iPhone or iPad
  3. Find the event you want to watch and select it to start watching it - when presented with standard or enhanced, choose standard
  4. When you see the menu, select Apple TV. It may take a few seconds, but it’ll then start playing on your TV
  5. If you want to stop casting, simply click the blue airplay icon and click on your device name

How do I cast with Google Chromecast?

Here’s how to cast BT Sport using Google Chromecast:

  1. Download the Google Home app and setup the Google Chromecast through the app
  2. Select the correct HDMI input on your TV for Google Chromecast
  3. Double check your Google Chromecast is connected to the same network as your device
  4. Find the event you want to watch via the BT Sport app and select the casting icon that shows in the top right-hand corner - if you don’t see the casting icon and you’re using an Android device, make sure your Google Play Service is up to date
  5. Select your Google Chromecast from the available list. It will turn white when connected and will start casting
