Which iPhone XS size is best for your business?

When you’re choosing the best iPhone for your business, it’s fair to say size matters. But is bigger always better? Here we’ll compare how the iPhone XS measures up against other iPhone models to see which one will be best for your business.

iPhone XS dimensions

iPhone XS features an impressive, 5.8-inch Super Retina display, picking up from where the game-changing iPhone X left off. The actual handset is 143.6 mm tall, 70.9 mm wide and 7.7 mm deep, or in inches, that’s 5.65” x 2.79” x 0.3”.

The iPhone XS owes its sleek design to the most durable glass ever in a smartphone, paired with precision-machined, surgical-grade stainless steel. Reassuringly solid, it weighs in at 177 grams, or 6.24 ounces in old money.

Is the iPhone XS big enough for business users?

With its edge-to-edge display, the screen on the iPhone XS is over an inch larger than the iPhone 8, despite being only a tiny fraction larger overall. That means it still fits neatly into your hand, but makes it easier to manage your emails, open documents, surf the web and more.

Of course, if you want the largest screen possible, you want the iPhone XS Max. Measuring in at 6.5 inches, corner to corner, it’s the closest thing you can get to a tablet, without actually carrying a tablet. It’s still portable enough to hold in your hand with ease, but you’ll need pretty large pockets to carry it comfortably.

But let’s not forget the iPhone XR. Launched a couple of weeks after the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, its 6.1-inch screen is a decent size compromise. It’s a wise choice of iPhone for budget-conscious businesses, because although it shares many of the powerful features of the XS models, it’s the cheapest of the three.
