As long as you choose a new 24 or 36 month plan with the same or higher monthly payments than the one you're on, you can Upgrade Anytime with EE.

How Upgrade Anytime works
If you’re on a plan with Upgrade Anytime, you can upgrade after just 15 days.
As long as your device works, you can trade it in for a shiny new one. You’ll need to choose a new 24 or 36 month plan with monthly payments no lower than the plan you’re on.
Depending on when you’re upgrading, you may need to pay an upgrade fee, excluding VAT:
