What is Scam Guard?
Scam Guard for EE Business is an add-on designed to help reduce the risk of scam or spam phone calls.
Scam Guard enhances your service by detecting and blocking spam and fraud calls, without blocking your important calls. It’s AI-powered, checking incoming calls in real-time and letting you know of suspected nuisance calls.
Scam Guard is adaptive and self-learning, which means over time it’ll get better and better at deciding whether a call is potentially spam or fraudulent.
Availability and cost
Scam Guard is available exclusively to EE Business Mobile Pay Monthly customers for £1 per month (83p excluding VAT). Unfortunately, PAYG customers cannot access this service.
For each additional phone number on the account with Scam Guard, there will be an extra charge of £1 per month (83p excluding VAT) per device.
Reporting an issue with Scam Guard
If Scam Guard doesn't seem to be working as it should, check your add-ons to ensure it is active. You’ll only see warnings if you receive a nuisance call, so it’s possible you simply haven’t received any.
If you still think it isn’t working, call us on 150 from a mobile or 0800 956 6100 from any other device between 9am and 6pm Monday – Friday.

Cancelling Scam Guard
You can cancel Scam Guard anytime as it is available on a 30-day rolling contract. If you cancel via Text Services, the add-on will be removed at once.
You can also cancel via an agent straight away, on your next bill cycle, or on any future date. If you cancel online, the add-on will be removed on your next billing cycle, and you will receive a credit for any unused days on your next bill.
