How long is a SIM only contract?

You choose. You can sign up to a 12 month SIM only contract – or a simple 30 day rolling contract

How can I personalise my SIM only contract?

Easy. On our phone SIMs you can add things like international roaming, calls to the EU or a supersized data allowance for a small extra cost. Just pick what you need when you choose your SIM.

What is SIM only?

With SIM only plans you provide the device we provide the network. That means you get all the benefits from being an EE customer but pay less than you would for a standard plan.

What do I need to switch to an EE SIM only plan?

All you need is your phone or tablet – we’ll do the rest. Our superfast SIM are designed to fit any device, just pop out the size to fit yours.

How do I keep my number if I move to another tariff or plan?

If you’re an EE customer, you’ll just need to insert your SIM into your phone and you’re good to go.

If you’re moving to EE from another network, don’t worry – there’s a simple process all network providers follow to make things easy for everyone.

Call your old network to say you’re leaving and they’ll give you a special code called a Port Authorisation Code (PAC) that you’ll need to give us when you receive your new EE SIM through the post or in store

Am I able to upgrade my handset?

If you're on a pay monthly SIM plan, you can upgrade to a handset plan after 4 months.

How long will it take for my SIM to arrive?

Once you’ve placed your order we’ll deliver your SIM directly to you by second class mail.

Important information about purchases made on our site

By selecting a Service Plan above, you are expressing your interest in placing an order with EE. You will receive an email confirming the plan in which you have expressed an interest, and a member of our sales team will review your request, and conduct a business credit-check.

We may need to contact you to discuss either the Services or Equipment in which you are interested and, if this happens, we will call on the number you have provided to discuss your order. No price or other information on our site is binding on us until we have accepted your order.

Once we have spoken to you, or if our sales team is happy with your order and credit-check results, you will receive a second email confirming: (i) (if we have called you) any changes from your initial order; and (ii) that your order has been accepted.

If this is a pre-order or your chosen Equipment is out of stock, we will aim to send your Equipment to you within 30 days of the launch date, or (if it was out of stock) within 30 days of your order. Sometimes this isn’t possible. If so, we will let you know and if you are unhappy to wait more than 30 days, you can cancel your order.

If you change your mind, you may cancel the Service and return any Equipment to us within 14 days from the date that your contract starts. You will still have to pay for any use that you have made of the Services during this time, and the Equipment must not be damaged when you return it to us.

Unlimited Plans. Unlimited calls, texts and data allowance for your sole use only. Roaming in EU/EEA is subject to 60GB per month fair use policy and limited to three months of continuous roaming. We may consider usage above 1000GB/month to be excessive and have the right to move you to a more suitable plan.

1. General – Prices exclude VAT of 20%. Subject to credit check, business registration and 12 or 24 month or 30 day minimum term. You own any devices 6 months from plan start date. On every EE contract the monthly price plan charge will be increased by RPI annually in March. The price increase will be based on your monthly price plan charge excluding any discounts. Other prices, such as call charges and Roaming costs, may also go up during your plan. Your first annual RPI increase will take place in March 2021.

Annual price increase based on the full price of your plan and/or additional commitment service. The price will increase from March each year. Please note the cost of any additional services you take from us might also increase or decrease while you are an EE customer.

2. Calls and Texts Allowances - Calls and text allowances are to (a) call/text UK mobiles and landlines starting 01, 02 and 03 when in UK or EU/EEA and (b) to call/text EU/EEA mobiles & landlines when roaming in EU/EEA. Jersey, Guernsey & Isle of Man treated as EU/EEA. Calls to 070 numbers cost up to 63p/min and calls to 084, 087, 09 & 118 cost 44p/min plus the applicable service charge (exc.VAT).

3. Roaming - Inclusive data is for use in the UK & EU/EEA. See EE Price Guide for Small Business at for countries covered by roaming and international allowances. Deposit needed for roaming in limited circumstances. Other terms apply, see A 25GB fair-use policy while roaming applies to 50GB plans. A 30GB fair-use policy while roaming applies to 60GB plans. A 60GB fair-use policy while roaming applies to 100GB and 200GB plans.

4. 4G – 4G speeds depend on location, number of users and plan. 4G only available on EE plans. Check your coverage at 4G IN MORE PLACES THAN ANY OTHER UK NETWORK: Based on results from the RootMetrics® UK RootScore® Report: H2 (Jul – Dec) 2018. Tested at locations across the UK with the best commercially available smartphones on 4 national mobile networks across all available network types, conducting over 25K randomly sampled test cycles. 5. 5G - 5G launching in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Belfast, Birmingham and Manchester with roll-out across other UK cities during 2019. Check Speeds vary by location, coverage and demand. 5G coverage and compatible device needed.

6. Data Reserve - If you reach your monthly data allowance on one of our 5G Data Reserve plans you will continue to be able to use data, but your speed will be restricted to 384kb per second. To continue to use 5G data at full speed you will need to buy one of our 5G speed boost data passes which will restore full speed 5G service for the duration of the pass, or until the end of your billing cycle when your monthly full speed data allowance renews – whichever comes first.

7. BT Sport - TV license and latest Android, Window or iOS operating system required. App is for your personal, non-commercial use in the UK. Visit for full info.

8. Wi-Fi Calling - Compatible phone only (check compatibility at WiFi with broadband internet connection required. EE accepts no responsibility for the quality, availability or coverage of WiFi networks and calls made or received over them. All calls or texts charged as per your EE price plan.
