Connectivity through devices
We’ve a wide range of 5G devices from Apple to Samsung to Android to connect you to our superfast 5G network. We’re adding to the range as more devices get released.
Our 5G devices work across both our 5G and 4G networks while 4G specific devices only have access to our 4G network. This is because 5G devices require additional technology, such as 5G chipset, to work on a 5G network.
Can I buy a 5G device elsewhere and connect to 5G on EE?
Sure, if you buy an unlocked 5G-compatible device, you can get an EE 5G SIM-only Smart plan to connect to our superfast 5G network.

Connectivity through our plans
Our 5G Business Pay-monthly or SIM-only plans give you complete access to our superfast 5G network. Plans come with business grade security with MobileIron Threat Defense, EE Data Reserve, and access to TNT Sports on the discovery+ app as standard.
You’ve also got the option to choose from our Swappable benefits on premium Business Select plans, which include International Calling, Roaming outside of the EU, or Double Data allowance.
On our 5G pay monthly or SIM only plans you now have EE Data Reserve. So even if you use all your monthly data allowance, you can still stay connected.
When it comes to roaming there’s no extra cost to use your plan’s minutes, texts and data allowance on a 4G network in 48 European destinations including EU member states.
